I created this crochet pattern to make a sweet little butterfly that works up fast and uses just a few scraps of yarn.

The sample shown uses fingering weight yarn and a G hook, but any size yarn can be used, just adjust your hook to get a good fabric.

The butterfly was designed as part of a community fiber art project where attendees to the Hoosier Hills Fiber Festival can add their own butterfly to the archway that festival goers pass through to enter the event.

Details on how to contribute if you are unable to attend are on the festival’s website: www.hoosierhillsfiberfestival.com/butterfly-archway
