Archway is a practical and easy knitted shawl, ideal for those who begin in the art of knitting.
Its construction is very simple, knitting from one end to the other, increasing 1 stitch in every odd row by adding yarn overs.
It was designed with the Arwchay Underground Station in mind, where every morning my imagination flew from one strange design to another.
Archway is a most heartfelt thank you to the city of London and its people, who welcomed me with so much affection and solidarity when I went to study there. And it is especially a demonstration that garments easily constructed can also be beautiful.
Archway is the first design of the “London Series” that will aim to honor those subway stations that were part of my daily life in London for so many years.

Archway es un chal práctico y fácil de tejer, ideal para quienes se inician en el arte de tejer.
Su construcción es muy sencilla, se comienza tejiendo desde una punta a la otra, aumentando 1 punto en las hileras impares.
Fue diseñado pensando en la Estación de Metro Arwchay de Londres, donde cada mañana llegaba y comenzaba a volar mi imaginación dando forma en mi mente a las mas extrañas y extravagantes prendas.
Archway es un agradecimiento a la ciudad de Londres y a su gente, que me acogió con tanto cariño y solidaridad cuando era estudiante. Y es especialmente una demostración que lo fácil y práctico también puede ser bello.
Archway es el primer diseño de la “Serie de Londres” que tendrá como finalidad homenajear aquellas estaciones del metro que formaron parte durante muchos años, de mi vida cotidiana.
