Nothing blocks wind and snow like felted wool (at least nothing natural does). For the ultimate in winter warmth, whip up this felted beanie with a contrasting ribbed trim. Knit from the top down in the round, the beanie is felted to exact size in a washing machine. A bulky weight ribbed cuff is picked up post-felting, adding an additional layer of warmth.
