This lightweight pullover is knitted from the top down with set-in sleeves, V-neck, and a comfortable swing silhouette. A simple stranded colorwork pattern punctuates the color shift at the lower body and sleeves. The neck is edges with colorful garter ridges followed by a tiny roll; the body and sleeves are edged with a bit of single ribbing.

Stitches are initially cast on for the upper back, which is worked in rows down to the armholes. Stitches for the front are then picked up a the shoulders, and the front is also worked in rows to the armholes, with the V-neck shaped along the way. The lower body is worked in rounds to the hem, with widely spaced increases at each side to produce the easy swing shape. Stitches for the sleeves are picked up around the armholes, the caps are shaped with short-rows, then the rest of the sleeves are worked in round to the cuffs.

Wear this pullover with jeans for a casual look as shown here, or with a skirt and boots for dressier occasions.

The sweater shown measures 42 1/2” (108 cm) at bust.

The sweater requires 3 (3, 3, 3, 3, 3, 4, 4) skeins of the main color (A); 2 skeins of B for all sizes and 1 skein of C for all sizes.
