Arella is crocheted with Medium Weight Yarn and a 4 mm (G) hook. I recommend you chose a denser craft yarn, such as Bernat Super Value (which is what I used for Arella), or Red Heart Super Saver Yarn (which I have used for my previous Angel patterns).

Arella stands tall on her own without stuffing or stiffening glues being applied.

She is crocheted in one piece from her head to the base of her skirt. Her wings and arm are crocheted separately and then sewn in place.
