About Ari Sweater
This Ari sweater is knit seamlessly in the round using luxurious Malabrigo Noventa making it a quick and satisfying project with a buttery-soft finish. Featuring a classic raglan yoke and a bold cable running down each sleeve, this design combines timeless structure with a playful twist. The slightly oversized fit adds comfort and flexibility, perfect for layering through cooler seasons.

Pattern Workflow
Sweater is worked top down with raglan increases, a cable chart on the sleeve and GSR for a tailored fit. After working the GSR, you’ll continue working increases in the round. The work is then divided with sleeves placed on waste yarn while the rest of the body is knit in stockinette. The sleeves are then picked up and knit in the round continuing with the cable pattern. Cuffs and bottom edge of sweater are knit with a k1,p1 rib then bond off with tubular cast off.

Knitting Needles
• US 10/6mm DPN’s and 16” & 24-30” circular needles. These will be used for cuffs, hem, and neck ribbing.
• US 11/8mm circular needles 16”, 24- 36” and DPNs. Body and sleeves are knitted in this size needle. The shorter circular needle work great when starting the yoke before moving on to longer needles as stitches increase. DPNs are needed for knitting sleeves in the round.

If using magic loop, you don’t need DPNs or the shorter circular needles.
