Any yarn weight or brand can be used to crochet this cushion cover - when made with DK weight yarn, the cushion cover, with both pieces joined together, measures approximately 40 cm square (16 inches square). The amount of yarn used (DK weight yarn) is approximately 389 grams (15 ounces) or 584 metres (639 yards), with the main colour requiring 235 grams (9 ounces) or 353 metres (386 yards), and the contrast colour using 154 grams (6 ounces) or 231 metres (253 yards).
