Arietta Leggings are worked top down. At first a folded edge is worked to form a casing for the elastic around the waist. Then short rows are worked in the back. Inc are worked between the legs and then the work is divided and the two legs are finished separately. The legs are worked in eyelet pattern while at the same time decreasing so that the legs become narrower towards the foot. The legs are finished with twisted rib.
