ABOUT THE PATTERN
The Arles Hat 2.0 is crocheted from the top down in spiral round. This pattern uses basic crochet techniques such as
magic ring and single crochet.

The Arles Hat 2.0 is an improved version of the original Arles Hat.

The main differences between the two versions are:
Yarn: The original Arles Hat was crocheted using Hobbii raffia, while the 2.0 version uses DMC raffia. The DMC raffia is
more even, finer, better quality, and has better structure and hold.
Gauge: The gauge is different.
Crown: The overall shape of the crown remains the same, although a few additional rounds have been added compared
to the original pattern.
Brim: The brim is constructed differently. It has better structure, holds its shape more effectively, and is also deeper
than the brim of the original Arles Hat.

Measure your own head circumference to determine which size will fit you the best.

Approx. 100 (100) 150 g of ECO VITA from DMC (100% wood fibers, 50g = 100 m).
Crochet hook 3.5 mm US E/4 - UK9.
Tapestry needle.

GAUGE
18 sts x 21 rows = 10 x 10 cm, on crochet hook 3.5 mm US E/4 - UK9.
