This is a colorful summer top that’s going to be a real display of skills! Involving intarsia cables, fair isle motifs, slipped stitches and a lacy leaf edge, it’s sure to become your pride and joy and to attract lots of looks! It’s designed to be worn with some positive ease and to drape, so if normally you’re wearing M size in tops, this would be worn as an L sized garment, so you might want to plan accordingly.
It’s a relatively advanced pattern in terms of techniques involved but the assembly is very easy - and the size adjustments are done only for the back piece.
What I used as yarn / what you’ll need is:
Malabrigo Silky Merino + Katia Merino 100% (or any other DK weight yarn):
2 x 50g skeins MC, and 1 skein each of the alternative colors. For this piece, I’ve used Ankara Green (MC), Spring Water, Teal Feather from Malabrigo, and Color #1 (white) + Color #13 ( yellow) from Katia Merino.
