This is a listing for a pattern for a lacy and colorful lace weight shawl. This is the perfect shawl for an air conditioned restaurant, or chilly fall or spring evening. The two lace stitches are traditional Shetland stitches and are easily learned. The colors make this a stunning shawl even though it is a very easy knit. There are instructions contained within the pattern on how to transition from one color to the next. The pattern also has instructions for an optional bead crocheted edging and well as a simple crocheted edging.

Skill Level: Beginner + (assuming a basic knowledge of lace knitting).

Both stitches are written out line by line, and are easily memorized, so that no chart is needed.

The sample shawl was expertly pattern tested by Cathy B, who can be contacted at: hooksandstitcks@gmail.com.The yarn used in the sample is Knit Picks “Aloft”, in various colorways. You can elect how many colors you would like to make it in.
