This cardigan is a top-down knit raglan style sweater with a ribbed crew neck and cuffs. The mountain and stars design along the bottom of the body is created using purl stitches and one row of fair isle color work. The body of cardigan is knit flat on circular knitting needles. The sleeves are attached after the body is complete and knit in the round on circular needles and the small holes under the arms are closed up with minimal seaming. The button bands are picked up after the body is complete. The directions for this pattern are written in 2 year, 4 year, 6 year, and 8 year old sizes.
