This listing is for my knitted toy Armadillo pattern. These sweet little creatures come from South America, they are related to the Aardvark and there are 20 different varieties of Armadillo. The word Armadillo is Spanish and translated into english means, ‘Little Armoured One“ They sleep up to 20 hours a day in burrows and forage on insects in the early morning and late afternoon. They don’t have good eyesight but have a keen sense of smell.
Too sweet! I just had to design a pattern:)

Measurements when knitted up:
5.5 inches tall
12 inches from ears to tail end

This pattern has been knitted in stocking stitch with increasing and decreasing on size 4.5 mm needles in a chunky hand spun wool. The eyes have been needlefelted on with a felting needle.

Please note, this pattern is for personal use only, and not for resale, items knitted from this pattern may not be sold for commercial purposes, thank you.
