This is the child’s version og the Armadillo sweater.

Armadillo is a sweater/pullover knitted from the bottom edge and up with a textured pattern at the sides and on the shoulders. The sweater has a raglan yoke and long sleeves. The Sweater has traditional rib edges. The pattern is made for at yarn with a gauge of 18 stitches per 10 centimeters (stockinette stitch) i.e. a yardage of 90 meters per 50 grams.

Pattern includes directions for a size 4, 6, 8, 10, 12 and 14 years with chest width of 73 (78, 84, 91, 98, 107) centimeters and a length of 43 (46, 51, 54, 57, 61) centimeters.

The pattern is written for a knitter with recently acquired medium skills, a knitter who is able to follow written instructions, make increases and decreases, pick up stitches and work in the round.

Materials: yarn, knitting needles and stitch markers.
