This pattern highlights the textures I see and feel around my farm. I hope as you knit this pattern, you can get a glimpse of all the sights and sounds and even smells you might encounter on my farm.

This pattern was included with my 2021 Advent Calendar. The colors may or may not have been included, it’s a surprise!

I wanted to make something fun but easy enough for a beginner. This cowl has lots of texture and no complicated stitches. This pattern is a series of knits, purls, and slipped stitches only. It is perfect for 8 mini-skeins of yarn, or odds and ends, or even just 2 colors of sock yarn you’ve had in your stash for ages. With all the texture, one color would work as well. The sections attempt to make the most of each mini, but are purposely different sizes, because on a farm, nothing matches precisely. Join me on a little walk around my farm.
