The Arrosa Backpack is a beginner friendly drawstring backpack crochet pattern. Perfect for trips to the park, beach, library, pool, or farmer’s market, this will be your go-to summer bag!

The bottom of the bag is worked flat and the sides seamed. You pick up stitches around the bottom to work on the body of the bag.

The top edging is worked perpendicular to the body of the bag.

There is a video tutorial from Make & Do Crew linked in the pattern for the Romanian Cord technique used for the strap. Written instructions are also included.

I used less than one cake of Caron Cotton Cakes in Watermelon - a worsted cotton/acrylic blend yarn.

Pattern is written in English, using US crochet terms and abbreviations. Special stitches are described.
