This scarf knits up quickly in chunky yarn and provides some cozy warmth. It’s a simple and satisfying knit as you watch the triangle grow, increase after increase. The pattern can easily be adjusted to be longer and wider. For a sleeker look, omit the fringe. Or really make a statement with an extra long fringe!

Skills required: Knit, purl, YO, M1 (tutorial included)

Materials:
250-270 yds Cascade Eco Wool, or any chunky yarn
Size 10(6mm) circular needle on 24” cord
Crochet hook (4mm) to attach fringe
2 stitch markers

A tutorial is included with this pattern to M1 without creating a hole in your work. The centre increases are done in this way.

Gauge is not critical for this project. The yarn I used resulted in a gauge of 14 sts and 21 rows / 4” in stockinette on size 10 (6mm) needles.
Finished measurements: 35” x 13”, excluding fringe. Can easily be made larger or smaller.
