Arrowroot Shawl is knit from the top down, starting with a garter tab, and then working in rows to the completion of the shawl. Yarn over increases and simple textured patterns make this a great pattern for confident beginners.

Yarn: 3 skeins Roan DK by Primrose Yarn Co. (60% American Superwash Merino, 40% Domestic Non Superwash Merino); 230 yards (210 m) / 100g) or approximately 690 yards of DK weight yarn. Sample shown in colorway Hazel.

Needles
US 7 (4.5mm) circular needles, 32 inch cable or longer.

Gauge
16 sts and 28 rows to 4 inches in stockinette stitch, using US 7 (4.5mm) needles.
Gauge is not crucial, however changes may result in needing more or less yarn than stated.
