Artemis Top
I had been searching for THE perfect cowl-neck top for a long time, but never quite found one that matched what I had in mind. Inspired by Artemis, the Greek goddess of the hunt, I began designing my own. After countless prototypes and refinements, Artemis Top finally became the piece I had been looking for.
Its signature cowl neckline is created through two carefully engineered details: waiting for you to discover while knitting!
The pattern includes both top-down and bottom-up versions in separate PDF files, allowing you to choose the construction method you prefer. Although the finished garment is the same, each version has its own advantages: the top-down version makes it easy to adjust the body length and manage yarn usage, while the bottom-up version features a simpler construction and allows the shoulder straps to be adjusted at the end.
Rather than being graded to fixed sizes, Artemis Top is designed to be made to your own measurements. A calculator is included with the pattern. Simply enter your body measurements and gauge, and it will generate the stitch and row counts needed for your garment. Throughout the project, you can try it on and make adjustments to achieve a truly personalized fit.
The pattern includes detailed written instructions, step-by-step illustrations, and construction diagrams. It is suitable for advanced beginners who are comfortable with basic knitting techniques.
