The Arun socks are inspired by the River Arun, the longest river in Sussex (UK).

With a toe-up seamless construction, the foot and leg are knitted in a beautiful cable pattern. The heel is created with short rows and a heel flap.

Suitable for beginners - All techniques needed are explained in the pattern.

The pattern includes charts and written instructions.

YARN
Fingering/sock weight yarn. Approx. 300 m / 328 yd.
Sample is shown in Retrosaria Mondim (3-ply 100% Portuguese wool; 100 g / 385 m 421 yds ).

NEEDLES
Size 2.5 mm (US 1.5) circular needles with a cable length of 80 cm (32”), or needle size necessary to obtain gauge.
