This is my interpretation of a popular commercially made hat that has been getting a lot of buzz lately.

I knit with a couple of friends every Tuesday at a local Panera. One Tuesday morning, we saw someone wearing this hat and fell in love with the style. So being the intrepid knitters we are, my friend challenged me to work up a pattern and this is what I came up with.
