What makes ASA patterns different: Traditional granny squares meet innovative joining. These patterns use squares of varying sizes — perfect for scrap yarn — while the continuous joining method dramatically reduces ends to weave in.
Finished size: is approximately 11 x 12.3 times bigger than your 3-round square (ignoring the zigzag). Sample measures 48” square (valley to valley), 52” square (point to point), 38” x 42” (ignoring the zigzag). (See second picture)
Total yardage: 2125 yards
Squares: 1400 yards
Join: 725 yards
Skill level: Intermediate (the joining method is the challenge, not the squares themselves)
What’s included:
- Written granny square pattern (or use your own favourite)
- RH and LH schematics
- Continuous join tutorial links (written with photos + video)
