My three kids take the train to school, and the walk from the station takes them along the Ash Path. It’s a good 15 minutes on foot, and they catch up with their friends as they go. The central cable that runs from cuff to fingers represents the path, and the split diamond cable is the kids winding their way along it to school. The gorgeous ‘Glo’ (coal) colourway of Cartref yarn was perfectly suited to this pattern.

There are 2 sizes: Medium (7-8.5” hand circumference) and Large (8.5-10” circumference). The ribbed palm makes these very stretchy and snug, and only uses half a skein of Cartref Yarn - perfect for gift knitting!

I would love to see your finished Ash Path Mitts, so if you post a picture of them on social media, please use #ashpathmitts
