This is a fun, squishy, warm hat that looks kinda fancy but is actually very easy. “Cables” are done without a cable needle and it’s suitable for an adventurous beginner. You will need to know how to work with double-pointed needles (or other method for working the decreases).

The smaller size will fit most adults as a close-fitting beanie. Knit the larger one if you’re a grown-up who prefers a slouchier hat or a turned-up brim.

It is so named because I designed it (my first real design!) for a beautiful young lady in Asheville.

100% of the proceeds from this pattern go to helping the homeless in and around the Pittsburgh, PA area. I’ve kept the price minimal. Help me put hats on heads and other needful things into the hands of those who may feel cold or forgotten in winter.
