Ash’s Cabin Cowl is a nod to my partner-in-crime’s favorite scary movie! In the movie, the main character spends a weekend getaway at a remote cabin in the woods. This cowl also incorporates a log cabin technique, giving it a double meaning!

You’ll need a size US E (3.5mm) crochet hook as well as a locking stitch marker, a tapestry needle, and scissors.

Sample was made with Hikoo Twisp 70% Pima Cotton/20% Bamboo Viscose/10% Hemp) 164 yards per 50 gram skein. Sample uses 1 skein each in colors #6001 Black, #6000 Charcoal, #6006 Beechwood, and #6011 Fireclay. These instructions were written using 4 colors but can easily be completed using as many colors as you like! I suggest using at least 3 different colors so the pattern is visible.

This cowl is designed to fit 24” in circumference but can easily be adjusted if desired. Please note, depending on yarn substitutions, you may need less or more yardage.
