Please note that this is a Tunisian crochet pattern! There are two bag patterns with interchangeable portions and you will absolutely need an afghan hook.

Although I think any beginner in Tunisian crochet can easily complete this bag, if at any time you get confused by a stitch, just send me a note and I will happily walk you through it.

Gauge is not important for this project. I used Loops and Threads Impeccable yarn for this bag, which is a heavy worsted weight. I see no reason you couldn’t use any regular ww yarn, or even a bulky yarn! Make a huge bag! In fact, I might just try that myself. In that case, you would want to adjust your hook size to match your yarn choice. Also, I used basic wooden handles from the craft store. Get creative and find some fab handles!

Basic bag lining instructions are contained within the pattern as well. But if you are an excellent sewer…hmm, that doesn’t look right…then you should have no problem lining the bag.
