This is a 100 % CLASSIC C R O C H E T pattern, not tunisian, and definitively not knitting.

By using only a few C R O C H E T stitches you could obtain this wonderful knit look LEAFY BOLERO.

ASPEN is a beautiful and elegant leafy stitchery using mostly blhdsl- back loop half double slip stitch (aka brioche stitch or yarn over slip stitch).
The entire bolero uses this unique stitchery and the sleeve cuffs are quite plain.

The bolero stitchery repeats in 2 alternative slices, without cutting the yarn, sleeve cuffs included. The first slice is the foundation for the second one and the second slice is the foundation for the next first one.
You’ll stop the repetitions whenever you achieve the desired sleeve cuffs circumference.
The sleeves length is adjustable from the beginning according to the instructions.

This design is suitable for variegated yarns with slow transitions from one color to the next one. Examples: UNFORGETTABLE by RedHeart, VALS by Nako, AMBIANCE by YarnArt, CARNIVAL by Hobbii, RIOT by King Cole, PRISM by MaryMaxim etc.

My example bolero is made using VALS YARN by NAKO, shade 85794 and 5mm hook. The measurements of my bolero are: 140 cm width, 50 cm long on the middle back and I’ve used 4 skeins (960 m) starting with 204 ch.
