Aspyre is an Anglo-Saxon word that means “to explore or investigate”. Explore different stitches in this alternating lace and cable motif cowl. The lace/cable motif produces a column that leads up the full height of the cowl – drawing the eye upwards. Narrower eyelet and slipped stitch motifs bracket the lace/cable columns, adding a texture change for interest. Together these three motifs allow for an interesting exploration of knitting stitches. Delve in!
