The Aster Baby Bloomers are the perfect seamless diaper cover for babies and toddlers. The Bloomers are worked in the round from the top down. They are then divided into back and front, which are knitted in turn rows and then joined with the Grafting Knit Stitches (The Kitchener Stitch).

Bloomers sizes: 0-3 (3-6) 6-12 (12-24) months.
Finished approx. measurements (Waist circumference):
0-3 months - 18 inches/46 cm
3-6 months - 19.5 inches/50 cm
6-12 months - 21 inches/54 cm
12-24 months - 22.5 inches/58 cm

Gauge swatch (blocked): 19 stitches x 31 rows in texture pattern = 4x4 inches/10x10 cm.

Suggested needles: U.S. 7 (4.5 mm) circular needles, U.S. 7 (4.5 mm) double-pointed needles, if you don’t use The Magic Loop Technique (or the necessary needle size to obtain gauge).

Suggested yarn: Worsted weight yarn (100 grams/3.53 ounces = 207 yards/189 meters): 110 (130) 160 (200) g. Touch of Alpaca from Lion Brand used.

Materials needed: elastic band, scissors, stitch markers, tapestry needle, measurement tape

Techniques: Cast on, Knit, Purl, kfb, yo, k2tog, p2tog, Bind off.
