Astrid Childs Vest Sweater
The vest is worked from the top down, in the round in one piece. At the underarm, the body and sleeves are divided, with the sleeves placed on scrap yarn. The body is then completed in the round. Sleeves are also then completed in the round.
All Fairisle sections are charted separately.
There are 2 options for Chart D – a flower or snowflake.
If the body is worked in stocking stitch, the vest has a looser fit. If the body is worked in the diamond pattern, it has a closer, more structured fit.
