The Astrid Sweater is worked from the top down. You begin by knitting the upper back using German short rows. Stitches are then picked up along both sides to shape the shoulders, which are later joined to form the front. The body is worked in the round in stockinette stitch and finished with a wide rib and an Italian bind-off. Stitches are picked up for the neck and finally for the sleeves, which are worked with decreases and finished with a wide rib.

The grey sweater (size s) is knitted in Sandnes Peer Gynt (1053) and Rauma Alpaca Silk (014). The red sweater (size xs) is knitted with two strands of Rauma Finull (497).
