This is a delicate lace top and can be knitted from a single 100g skein of lace weight yarn. The pattern requires some concentration as the lace pattern is worked on every row. It is not, however, difficult to knit if you have some experience knitting lace. The only shaping is in the neck, the fit is due to the drape of the finished fabric.

The finished top is given in 3 sizes, the picture shows the middle size, which is approx. UK 12-14 and is knitted in Native Yarns Laxfield Alpaca Lace in the Astrid shade.

This pattern does have a lot of stretch in it and I’ve designed this top to be worn as a loose drapey garment, it’s not meant to be tight fitting. You can, of course, choose the size you want to make, depending on what you like to wear.
