Astrid's Bergen blanket
I have made a few cities already, and Bergen, Norway is such an iconic place with its waterfront houses so I definitely had to make it!
Bryggen (the dock), is a series of Hanseatic heritage commercial buildings lining up the eastern side of the harbour. It is on the UNESCO list for World Cultural Heritage sites since 1979.
This blanket is done in Interlocking crochet, and the pattern comes with instructions on the technique itself, plus photo tutorials on how to get started and how to make the colour changes.
I chose Scheepjes Catona for this project. The pattern includes a list of all the colours used, and how many grams of each. It is easy to follow my colour scheme or just make your own colours, I added a “colouring page” for you to play around with your colour preferences.
If you are new to the technique, you can find my tutorials with a free downloadable pattern to follow here: Astrid’s Interlocking crochet YouTube channel
