When I heard that Scheepjes was launching 37 new of its 100% cotton Catona shades, I went straight to the drawing table. I wanted a “colour sampler” that would show the new shades as in a colour card. I stayed away from making just squares with each colour, so I came up with this simple, but bright pattern with hearts. This was my choice of colours, but this blanket allows for any colour combination and is a great stash buster!

This blanket is done in Interlocking crochet, and the pattern comes with instructions on the technique itself, plus photo tutorials on how to get started and how to make the colour changes.

I chose Scheepjes Catona and used all 37 new shades plus white and blue. The pattern includes a list of all the ones used, and how many grams of each. It is easy to follow my colour scheme or just make your own colours, I added a “colouring page” for you to play around with your colour preferences.
