Astro may have been the beloved family pet, but he had style all of his own. You’ll feel stylish too in this 3/4 octagon shawl with cables and lace. The lightweight cables and stockinete fabric will feel warm over your shoulders while the flowing lace edge will flutter nicely as you move. Constructed with a seed stitch edging and a tab cast-on, this innovative little shawl will keep you entertained without feeling overwhelmed. A knitted on edging changes the pace, but remains a nice addition to this shawl.

This pattern is meant for adventurous novices to experienced knitters and all those in-between. Both written and charted directions are included in this pattern. Please read the entire pattern before beginning.
