Astrum Socks are light summer socks, worked in a lace pattern from toe-up. The sock begins with a star pattern that is worked around the toes. After the star toes, a lace pattern is worked from foot to cuff. Gussets mimic the same lace pattern and heel is worked in Eye of Partridge stitch with a heel flap.

Materials: CoopKnits Socks Yeah! 75% Merino, 25% Nylon (211 m 231 yards/50 g) or other similar light fingering weight yarn, 420 m/ 460 yds. (Pictured in colorway 110 Malachite)
Tools: 2,5 mm / US 1½ DPNs and circular needle if you use magic loop, 2,25 mm / US 1 circular needle or DPNs, 2 stitch markers, yarn needle.
Gauge: 37 sts and 48 rows = 10 cm (4”) in lace pattern (32 sts and 48 rows = 10 cm (4”) in st st), after blocking.
Notes: This pattern is written for Magic Loop method of knitting socks on a circular needle. You will, however, need DPNs for the Star Toe. Instructions are also given for using DPNs throughout the socks.
