This is a standard written crochet pattern, there is no diagram/chart. Skill requirement to execute this pattern should be considered Advanced Beginner, if not Intermediate, due to working in spiraling rounds and joined rows all while executing the Seed Stitch pattern. It is assumed that you know how to make the stitches and use the techniques listed below, except for special stitches which are explained within the pattern.

Description: This pattern contains instructions for a messy bun (open topped) hat and a full/regular hat with an asymmetrical brim. The hats are crocheted in top down fashion. The main body is worked in spiraling rounds of the Seed Stitch pattern. Brim is worked in turned rows with stitches that increase and decrease in size respectively.

Measurements: approximately 18” circumference x 7” and 8” length (respectively) with brim turned up.

Gage is not essential and may vary slightly depending on your tension. Item fits my very average sized, adult female head based on recommended hook size and yarn specification with my tension. You are responsible for fit based on how tightly or loosely you crochet respectively. You may decide to go up or down a hook size to achieve your desired fit.
