Asymmetrical shawl

This simple assymetrical shawl incorporates an eyelet edging on one long side of the triangular shape and a picot edging on the other long edge. These fancy edgings are worked as you go, leaving you with only one short edge to finish off as you wish. The pattern calls for 100g (400m) of self striping sock yarn, but would work just as well in one colour only.
The pattern uses UK terminology and includes instructions for edging the short side and blocking your finished shawl.
Unblocked gauge 24sts and 12 rows to 10cm/4” using a 4mm hook
Finished size after blocking: 54” x 18” approx.
