This easily memorized pattern features garter stitch stripes and is finalized with a 2.5 inch border in the main color. This pattern looks fantastic in yarns with a strong color contrast and would also look great knit with two similar tonal yarns for softer look. This shawl is knit with a traditional triangular shawl set up with alternating increases resulting in an asymmetrical shape, instead of a traditional triangle shape. This pattern contains a chart with stitch counts for each repeat, making it easy to track your progress. The finished Asymmetry shawl is generously sized making it easy to style several different ways. Grab your favorite DK weight yarn, a set of 40” circular needles, and get knitting!
