I originally discovered The Yarn at Home Mom yarn when my son sent me on a quest for rainbow yarn with “gold sparkles” for a pair of socks. I was blown away and from then on I was hooked on Shannon’s squishy and vibrantly colored yarn!

A departure from plain vanilla socks, but not at all complicated. The At Home Sock is knit toe up and features an easy to memorize 8 row pattern repeat of three simple stitches and techniques. I designed this pattern to play around with the colors of variegated yarns, but solids really make the unique textured pattern pop!

The pattern includes written instructions for the Magic Loop method but any circular knitting method can be used. If using DPNs, “Needle 1” in pattern is interchangeable with Needles 1 and 2. “Needle 2” is interchangeable with Needles 3 and 4. Instructions are given for a short row heel and tips are given throughout the pattern on technique and how to adjust to desired fit and size.

This pattern has been professionally tech edited and test knit.
