The Atarfe Shawl is inspired by the town where I live, Atarfe in Granada, Spain. It starts at one point and grows to form an asymmetrical triangle shawl with an oval-shaped hole knit in one end. This hole means that you can play with different ways of wearing the shawl, either wrapping it around your neck or threading the narrower point of the shawl through the hole and wearing it more like a shawl. There are at least 5 different ways to wear the Atarfe Shawl, which you can see in the pattern photos on Ravelry.

Este chal está inspirado en el pueblo donde vivo, Atarfe en Granada, España. Se empieza a tejer en punta formando un triángulo asimétrico, llegando un momento que se deja de crecer siendo un chal estrecho y largo con un ojal en el otro extremo; esta forma hace que puedas tener muchas formas de ponértelo según pongas el ojal arriba o abajo o las vueltas que te des en el cuello, incluso puedes hacer un nudo en la punta para asegurar el chal o como un simple adorno.
