Aticu Cardigan is the perfect accessory for all seasons. This is a classic raglan worked back and forth on long circular needles top-down with raglan increases. The sleeves are worked in the round on double-pointed needles or circular needles with the magic loop technique. This pattern is so customizable depending on your preferences for length. This cardigan should be worn with 3-4 inches/7-11 cm in positive ease at the chest.
Cardigan sizes: 0-3 months (3-6 months) 6-12 months (12-24 months)
The sizes 0-3 months (3-6 months) 6-12 months (12-24 months) correspond to a chest measurement of approximately 14½-16 (16-17½) 17½-19 (19-20½) inches/36-40 (40-44) 44-48 (48-52) cm.

Finished approx. measurements (after blocking):
Chest circumference:
0-3 months - 18½ inches/47 cm
3-6 months - 20 inches/51 cm
6-12 months - 21½ inches/55 cm
12-24 months - 23 inches/59 cm

Gauge swatch (blocked):
19 stitches x 30 rows in stockinette stitch on U.S. 6 (4 mm) needles = 4x4 inches/10x10 cm.

Suggested needles:
U.S. 3 (3,25 mm) circular needle (16 inches/40 cm); U.S. 6 (4 mm) circular needle (24 inches/60 cm); U.S. 6 (4 mm) double-pointed needles (if the sleeves are not worked using the magic loop technique); or the necessary needle size to obtain gauge.

Suggested yarn:
DK (11 wpi) weight yarn (Cotton-78%, Silk-22%; 50g (1.76Oz) = 131 yds (120 m) approx: 75 (100) 125 (150) g. FibraNatura Papyrus (color: Gardenia - 229-02) used.
