This easy batwing style cardigan is worked sideways in one piece so there is very little seaming – always a good thing!

Garter stitch means it is squishy and cosy but is an easy knit without much thinking about shaping.

It is worked by starting at one sleeve cuff, working one batwing sleeve then increasing for the body. The neckline is worked by binding off stitches then casting on new stitches for the second half of the body. The second sleeve is worked by decreasing stitches as a mirror image to the first.

If you would like a longer body then stitches can be added to the length once the first sleeve is completed.

Size:
This cardigan is available in sizes XS (28 inch chest) through to 5XL (60-62 inch chest).
