Audre Shawl
“When I dare to be powerful, to use my strength in the service of my vision, then it becomes less and less important whether I am afraid.” Audre Lorde, The Cancer Journals
This asymmetrical shawl features a design element inspired by a particular stitch in the Twist Collective sweater Reticella. The designer’s blog has excellent photos of the stitch. It uses dropped stitches in the design.
The shawl as shown was knit in Neighborhood Fiber Co. Subte Worsted by Neighborhood Fiber Co. and is exclusively available from The Yarn Mission. Find that yarn here.
You can also use Neighborhood’s Cobblestone Worsted, which you can get from Neighborhood Fiber Co.
