Introducing my latest sock AUGUST GLADIOLUS
This was so much fun to create and knit!
It offers smoothness on the foot and texture for the leg with a cable bind off that is darling.

Materials you need :
size 1 1/2 and 2 circular needles 32” long. you will use the smaller size for the foot and the larger size for the heel and leg.
fingering weight yarn. ( one of my favorites is seawallfibres http://www.etsy.com/Seawallfibres )
tapestry needle.

The sock is worked toe up using either Judy’s Magic Cast On or The Turkish Cast On. My personal favorite is the Turkish Cast On. U tube offers lots of tutorials on this.

The heel I chose to use is Fish Lips Kiss Heel by Sox Therapist
http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/fish-lips-kiss-heel
but you can use any heel you chose to.
This pattern has a unique edging bind off with step by step instructions and photos.
I also included charts for those of you who like to work from charts instead of written instructions.
