August in Tremblant is my first design, inspired by my time at the Knit for Fun Retreat in Mont-Tremblant, Quebec, Canada. This hat features a series of cables that twist and turn delicately covering it’s entirety. Stranded colourwork and thoughtfully placed cables create a high-contrast motif. This pattern is fun, interesting and straightforward to knit.

To knit this hat you may purchase a kit from the ever talented “The Blue Brick” (website: https://shop.thebluebrick.ca/collections/knitting-patterns) or simply use any scraps of fingering weight yarn that you may already own. You will need approximately 40g of each colour.

This hat looks fantastic when knit in two colours of high contrast or low contrast. Pick your colours and start knitting!
