The August Lili Pond sweater is knitted top down on needle 3mm and 3.5mm (or US #3 and 4) with folded cuffs and hems in contrast color. The sweater has a classic A-shape on the body and sleeves with a zero ease around this bust and positive ease around waist and hips. The sweater can easily be modified to be knitted longer or shorter and also knitted straight down without increases keeping a zero ease throughout the body.
The sweater is knitted top down and is increased four different places. This make it easy to costum fit as the sweater is knitted. For example if you want to knit a size M but wider sleeve circumference cast on and knit for a size M but increase for a XL for sleeves and knit the rest as a M. Also if yarn and needle isn’t quite meeting gauge try and go down or up a needle size or size up or down in the pattern.
