August Top
August top is a knit halter top with a high neck line and eyelet detailing. The August Top pattern is written in English, uses US Knitting Terminology, and is suitable for advanced beginners. The pattern is made to personal measurements; it can be recreated to fit any measurement.

Materials needed:
Refer to my versions & tester versions for examples of materials & yardage
- Yarn size- any size between; size 1 fingering weight (4 ply) to size 3 light weight (8 ply). (these are my recommendations this pattern can be followed using any yarn & needle combination; if your swatch comes out too dense or loose for your liking, experiment with different needles & the same yarn to see all your drape options <3)
- Yarn Material- any material will work- (my recommendations) something soft & breathable
- Needles- circular needles (40cm- 60 cm cord: or ~17cm shorter than waist ), use the needle size your yarn recommends- or .25 mm larger than recommended needle size.
- at least 5 stitch markers
- Measuring tape
- Tapestry needle
- Scissors
- Optional- Elastic thread & 1 button (for halter closure) what I used/ my yardage
Red August top:
490 yards of fingering weight- Hobbi Friends Cotton 8/4 shade 42 ( 3 skeins)- with
3.25 mm needles.(.25 mm above recommended needle size)
Striped August top:
300 yards of dk weight- Juniper Moon Farm Cirrus in Glacier (1 skeins) and 100 yards of Hobbi Rainbow Friends Cotton 8/4 shade 20 (1 skein) - with
4.0 mm needles.(within recommended needle size)
