For a long time, I have been looking for a really basic sweater for boys – because let’s face it: Psychedelic colours and delicate patterns just don’t do it for most (pre-)teenagers. However, my search was not successful, so I had to make my own model.

The result is this basic sweater with no kinds of artistic excesses. It is worked on 3.00-mm needles, which gives it a ‘close’ and not-so-homemade look, and it is knitted top-down, which makes it easy to adjust the length as you go.
