ABOUT THE PATTERN

The AURA TEE is the perfect knitted shirt for everyday - whether worn on its own or layered.
The AURA TEE is a raglan design and is knit using 7mm circular knitting needles and a single strand of yarn. Begin by casting on stitches, then shape the tee with raglan increases. Continue knitting the body of the tee to the desired length.
This pattern is suitable for all skill levels, making it a great choice for beginners.

NEEDLES
7mm circular knitting needles (cable lengths 40cm, 80cm/100cm)
8mm crochet hook or 8mm circular knitting needles (for bind-off)

To knit the AURA TEE you’ll need:

or
95 (95) 100 (105) 110 (115) 115 (115) g Cosmo by Lana Grossa (100g ~ 260m)
or
55 (55) 60 (65) 65 (68) 68 (70) g Paillettes by Lang Yarns (25g ~ 112m)
If you choose a different yarn, make sure the gauge matches. Otherwise, adjust the needle size.

Tip: sequin yarn is more difficult to work with and become a challenge for beginner knitters. If you struggle knitting with it, try knit with a looser tension. This way it is more easy to knit the sequins through the stitches.

Tip: the stretchiness of the yarn can slightly change the look of your AURA TEE. The Mille Fili yarn and the Paillettes yarn are both more stretchy, therefore have a lightweight look and hold the shape of the tee very well. The Cosmo yarn has little to no stretch and has a more heavy look.

GAUGE
10cm x 10cm = 13 stitches x 20 rows
Lay your gauge swatch flat, then measure it.
The gauge is worked in stockinette stitch using 7mm knitting needles.
If you have too many stitches, change to a larger needle size. If you have too few stitches, change to a smaller needle size.
